CAD Systems
As you would expect with a 21st Century Company like Carlton Laser Services, we use the latest Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems to support all our manufacturing work.
We use CAD computer technology to aid in the design and drafting of parts or products. We use CAD to draft in two dimensions (“2D”) and three dimensions (“3D”). CAD is an integral part of our communication processes and allows us to represent complex, three-dimensional objects in two-dimensional drawings. We can use designs from our CAD systems to see how effectively a component will actually work in practice.
CAD provides benefits such as lower product development costs and a greatly shortened design cycle. Using CAD, our staff can lay out and develop work on screen, print it out and save it for future editing, saving time on their drawings. Moreover, we use it to manage our whole sales, design and production process. This means that we are able to control quality and production speed and, hence our costs more effectively.
